Story

A presence built since 1981.

Forty-five years of industrial and diplomatic bridges between Europe, Japan and Korea.

One man’s story, now a firm’s.

SÉRIC’s story is inseparable from that of Christian Polak, who arrived in Japan in 1971. In 1981 he founded SÉRIC — Société d’Études et de Recherches Industrielles et Commerciales — in Tokyo to extend the industrial and diplomatic ties woven between France and Japan over more than a century, and to enable lasting strategic partnerships.

Christian Polak is a Knight of the Legion of Honour and a recipient of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette.
